Our South Naperville Campus was part of something really special last Tuesday! Over 1,000 people joined us for #NationalNightOut, most of whom were not affiliated with our church. We are grateful for those of you who invited your neighbors and friends, our Community Impact team, and the 60 volunteers who served enthusiastically during our event. A few weeks ago, students from The Compass Church - Bolingbrook Campus served our neighbors in Chicago during a week long mission trip. Daisy Diaz reflected on the trip saying "I really learned a lot. I enjoyed spending time getting to know the kids at the camp and exploring the area that they live in, which is so interesting to see because there are so many cultures in one area- and most of them are all family living close by on the same block. It definitely felt different than here in the suburbs where people keep more to themselves- I feel and it was nice to feel at home and see God working through this community." #serve #chicago #community
